I had a doctors appointment this AM and my LO is weighing 5lbs 6oz. I was thinking that was small to average since we only have about 3 weeks to go. I've only gained 14 lbs my entire pregnancy and I'm carrying very small but I keep getting comments on how big she's going to be since she's weighing 5.6lbs now. I was thinking the average size for this stage in gestation was 6 + lbs. I want her to be as healthy as possible so it wouldnt bother me if she was bigger. I'm just curious how much are/were your LOs weighing at this point?
Re: What is your LO weighing at 36 weeks?
I had a growth ultrasound at 35 weeks 5 days, and they estimated LO to be 6 lbs 4 oz. They told me this was right around average, in the 55th percentile.
Don't get too stressed about how much they "estimate" your baby to weigh. My BIL is an OB and he said that the calculations they use can be off by as much as a whole pound, either way.
Where is that 60lbs hiding, lol??
~ 6 lb, 11oz
Your LO sounds fine to me. Mine is in the 85%, so yours sounds pretty average.
(read it. you know you want to.)

This happened to me yesterday, too. I don't know what the weight is right now, but she claimed it would be in the 8s. I've gained about 32 lbs. It's mostly in my belly/boobs. Didn't gain too much in the legs. My face took some, too.
