I'm looking specifically at the Go Phone because I HATE being stuck in a two-year contract. I currently have Verizon and I hate them with the intensity of 1000 suns.
DH rigged our iPhone to work with one of their gophone plans. We get like 300 anytime minutes, 500 nights and weekends, and 200 texts for $50. It's okay, but I think I'm going to get MetroPCS soon.
The laws on contacts have changed and isn't that expensive to get out of them. AT&T is like 170 and goes down by like 10 dollars every month. The fine for breaking the contact is cheaper than our monthly bill.
I really like AT&T and I have had them for my personal cell phone for 5 years. I have numerous providers for work cell phones when I was working. I have simlar feelings towards Verizon.
T-Mobile has new rate plans out that are actually cheaper without a contract. You have to pay more for your phone upfront, but it works out to be a much better deal.

I'll look into this. I had some problems with T-mobile years ago, but with the phones themselves not the service plan.
Re: NTR: Do you have AT&T cell phone service?

Yes, I have the iPhone. Love the phone, don't love the service as much. I've never had so many dropped calls.
I was previously with Verizon and Sprint before that, and Verizon was the best. What do you hate about Verizon, the service or the customer service?
