  I dont think its bad.  Bordline cute.  I prefer names like this over weird, made up names any day.

  I know a girl named Stevie and it totally fits her personality.  Hip, spunky, different.  I think it's cute, especially with the family association.

  I know a Stephanie who goes by Stevie.  I think that's cute.  I'd never give a girl a masculine nickname as her actual name, though.

  It's cute but I would want it to be short for something, I think. The female version of Steven/Stephen/Stephan etc. is Stephanie. You could name her that and call her Stevie, that would be really cute I think.

  I had a friend named Stevi Ann. She was named after her dad, Steve, too. I liked it, it was always a good conversation starter, and it really fit her personality.

  I adore most boys names for girls. This is one that my first instinct would be to not like, but then I think of the singer Steven Curtis Chapman and his little girl names Stevey Joy and it's obvious how almost any name just grows on a child and you can't picture them with any other name, so I think if you used it it would turn out to be perfect, KWIM?
