Maxi Cosi Infant Car Seat or the Chicco Key Fit?

Has any one tried the Maxi Cosi Infant Car seat? I have been reserching for months and keep coming back to either this or the Chicco Keyfit, but I have heard mixed reviews about both. I would really like to hear people opinions about these two seats. If you have any suggestions on any other car seats please feel free to comment.

    I have the Maxi Cosi car seat and loooooove it!  We got it before DS and are now using it for DD and I am still totally happy with it.

    We also had the MC Foray stroller and loved that as well.  We don't get to use it as much anymore (we bought a Phil & Ted's double) and I really miss it

    eagles, that's great to hear --- we're looking at the Maxi Cosi carseat too. My SIL's both have it and love it as well.

    I am looking at getting one of their convertible seats for Sam when she grows out of the infant seat

    My brother and SIL lived in Belgium for a few years and SIL told me that MC is a really popular brand in Europe and that their safety requirements were stricter than the US. 

    If MC made a double stroller we would have gotten it for sure.  THe only complaint I had on both is that the canopies are kind of flimsy but honestly I find that to be the case on a lot of strollers/carseats.  I bought one of those rayshades - you put it on the carrier/stroller and it extends the shade

    We have the KeyFit 30 and we liked it, although our son got very, VERY hot and sweaty in it.. it was crazy!

    LOVED my KeyFit.  SO easy to adjust.  Wish DD weren't too big for it!
