Just wondering for those of you who pump or pump at work for next days feedings, how much do you typically get in a session of pumping (total). I typically get about 1.5-3 oz. per side; 3-6 oz total--average 4 oz total in each 20 minute pumping session. My baby is almost 4 months old. Is this normal? I never seem to have enough for next day and I have to supplement. I pump 3x/day at work and cannot do more than that.
Re: How many oz. do you pump per session?
My son is 2 months and I get about 4 ounces per side, typically around 8-9 ounces per session. I have an abundance of milk so I have stored them for later. I only pump twice at work since I am gone for 7 hours.
Every woman is different but I would think your body would make enough for the needs of your LO.
I pump approximately 5-6 times per day and get between 3.5 and 5oz depending on the time of day, except for the first am session - I usually get 8.5-10oz because I don't pump between midnight and 6am-ish.

I get 1-4 ounces per side -- closer to 4 in the morning and less as the day goes on. I get around 12 ounces total. Zack is only eating 9.5-12 ounces at daycare, so when I add in my morning session at home (7-8 ounces), I have enough to freeze some.
Can you add in a session at home? The morning pump gives me a lot of peace of mind regarding my output at work.
I get 4-10oz per session, depending on how much time elapses between pumping sessions. Typically I wait 4 hours and I'll get about 7 ounces combined. I get 10 ounces (5.5 one side and 4.5 the other) when I don't wake in the middle of the night to pump. I pump at least 6x a day.
*This is all when I'm not breastfeeding. Some days I EBF. Some days I EP. After BFing I'll pump about 2.5oz combined.
