Rain rain, go away

Ok, liking the thunder storms we had yesterday, but getting kinda sick of the constant rain.

Our power went out Monday, we had two surges yesterday, the satellite is out now (can't listen to music while I clean!!), our driveway is constantly flooded (like you shouldn't drive through it, it's so deep, flooded), people forget how to drive..........and it's dreary!

Okay, enough complaining, I am just ready for a break, even if it's just a day or two.

Re: Rain rain, go away

  • That sounds miserable.

I think it is horrible when the satellite goes out while it's raining  b/c all I want to do on rainy days is watch movies and TV.

  • The storm you have been experiencing the past couple days finally made it to AZ as we are bracing for the worst...  We are expecting to make records for rainfall and snow across the state.  So far we haven't had too many outages and floods but AZ is not setup to handle this much rain.  Should be an interesting couple of days here.

  • My dad spoke to my uncle, who lives in Tuscon, and he said the same thing (minus the snow).

It's been going on since Sunday. Like I said, it's getting old.

  • We too have had off and on rain since last Friday but today-Sat are supposed to be the hardest of the coming storms.  They are saying we should see rain through next Tuesday!  Luckily I have been working from home this week so I have not had to drive with everyone who has NO idea what rain is and how to drive in it!!
