s/o Land of Nod - here are my "inspiration" rooms

So, here is the playroom that I really like:

We're going to go with a similar wall color, I definitely want a chalkboard wall, and I love the little alphabet stickers (although I may order thru etsy instead)

And here is the room that gave me inspiration for Jenna's new room:

My disclaimer on this is that in the catalog, the wall color is WAY more lavender than blue, and we already painted the walls based on the actual catalog, so it's less blue.  I'm not doing the bedding, but I just like the contrast of the wall color and the white furniture.

I'm sure neither of the rooms will look nearly as fabulous as in the catalog, but I have no creativity, so I must have something to work with!

    I love both of them!  I really like chalkboard walls for kids.  If we ever buy a house big enough to have a playroom, I plan on painting a section of chalkboard wall. 

    I love the lavender room!  Purple is my favorite color, so if this baby is a girl, she will learn to love purple!

    Both of those rooms are really cute!!  I especially love the chalkboard paint.   Plus, I really like the white furniture.

    awesome!  If you can, try to check out IKEA for the play room furniture - it's way cheaper there than I have found it anywhere else!

    You have excellent taste. I have always loved lavender and green together and you are starting to change my mind. I originally thought that if we have a boy or a girl, we are going to go with the jungle theme but I might be changing that now if it is a girl.

    Love them both..especially the playroom...my next house will hopefully have a bonus room that I can make a playroom out off...the chalkboard wall is just an awesome idea!

    LOVE THEM!  And I loooooove chalkboard walls for kids.  If we can ever sell this house so that I can have a playroom, I want to do a whole wall in chalkboard-  I just think it's so cool.
