Re: If you CD but had to use sposies...

  • It depends on what we were most concerned with:

Price - Luvs or Huggies (Luvs is cheapest around here, but I always have Huggies coupons)

    Fit/Leaks & redemtion points- Pampers

Envir. Friendly - Huggies has new diapers out that are organic and made with more renewable resources.  Haven't tried them or researched them but they look good.

  • Nature Babycare - they are more EFF and I think they work pretty well - I get mine at Babies R Us

  • Nature Babycare.  We've used these on occasion and they work well.

  • I looked at Nature Babycare but they were out of size 3s which is the size we'd need.  Boo.

  • We use sposies at night and until last week used either Nature Babycare or 7th Generation. I prefer Nature. Sadly, neither work overnight anymore unless we double stuff them (hardly eco friendly), so we've resorted to pampers :(

  • The huggies natural ones are mildly greenwashing us into thinking they are better for the environment just cuz they use some organic cotton in addition to the gel and plastics. That said, we used them on a vacation and they worked wonderfully. They are softer than 7th gen (the only other kind i've used) and absorb better for night time. They don't smell all perfumey like other sposies. You can also find $3 off coupons for them, and when combined with store sales, you can get them pretty cheap. One pack might get you through.

  • Nature Babycare.  If you can't find them, I guess 7th Gen.  We can't use them because they break DD out but I know a lot of people like them.

    Yep.

  • I bought Pampers with coupons I had when we went to Europe for 10 days.
  • Thank you ladies -- I'm such a dork, didn't even think about coupons... You can tell I've never bought sposies before.  I'm going to try the Nature Babycare - maybe order from Diapers.com and get that $5 off deal.  We bought Pampers last night but paid full price for them and I feel incredibly silly for that.  I'll take 'em back.  I really do appreciate the advice.

  • I would get the chlorine free 7th generations, it'll cost a bit more but its better for the baby and the enviroment with less chemicals.
