I love baths, but I've been banned from them until after the baby comes. My OB is afraid if my water breaks and I'm in the tub, I won't be able to tell. I'm on bed rest with contractions, so that' s what the big worry is.
Ack! I hadn't even thought of that! I'd better get in as many baths as possible before I get too close to my EDD to do so!
I have sensitive skin so I stick with Mr. Bubble ) We recently moved to a new place with a much nicer tub. I hadn't taken a bath in years until we got here, and now I'm taking them every few days. It really helps with my aches and pains, and it's just so relaxing!
Bath salts girl friend...bath salts! Need I say anymore! This has been one of my pregnancy rituals in effort to relax mentally & physically. I prefer Aveda & Origins bath salts. However, you can get them anywhere...ie. the grocery store.

This is going to sound insanely stupid, but.... I have never, ever used bath salts and I have no idea how they work. What do they do?? Are they those little rock looking things? How do they make the bath so relaxing??
It started just because it was all I had on hand, and I really wanted bubbles in my bath- My new fave is Johnson Lavender Bedtime Bubble Bath. For the full effect, follow that up with Bath and Body Works "Sleep" (Lavender and Chamomile) aromatherapy body lotion. Mmmm... PS so glad my OB isn't banning bubble baths! That is one of the few indulgences I have left to enjoy.

Lush Bubble Bars are the best thing, ever. They are spendy, but you can break them apart and one of them lasts for several baths.
