Can I just say....

That I am a bit ticked that Douchebag has not seen Pumpkin since Christmas Day (for 6 hours). It has almost been a month! Poor girl has been sick with a stomach virus and I have had to take off work to take care of her. So besides the normal "poop explosion" from the baby, I was also puked on yesterday. I cleaned puke up off of the carpet, tile, bathtub, walls and furniture. 
BTW, Loft Bed + Vomit = major splatter effect.
I am mad at DB bc he is off of work (read: unemployed), and did not return my call to let him know P was sick. He didn't even call to see how she was feeling. He sucks, and I feel sorry for my children that they have to call him "Dad".

I totally understand. STBXH would not visit DD in the hospital cause "that is where sick people go." I tried calling him Monday to let him know she was sick and going to the doctor and he never returned my call. Good thing our LO's have excellent mothers!! I shiver to think of what would have happened if DH would have had a child with a flake
Hope your DD is feeling getter soon. Poop and vomit are not fun for anyone involved!
OMG can I totally relate. When we split and DD#1 was on chemo and I was PG he would continually flake on her. I had to wear protective clothing and gloves after she received her chemo for 72 hours to make sure that I didnt get any on my skin and thus hurt DD#2. I even had to hire a babysitter to watch DD#1 when I went into labor because he was too busy (which he later told me he was too busy having sex with his gf) and even missed DD#2s birth. Then the next week I had to be readmitted for a severe kidney/bladder infection and my mom had to take off work to care for our DDs. When DD#2 was overdosed (doctor error) and was in the PICU he refused to visit. The only time he came to the hospital that entire time was when he went and picked up DD#1 from the babysitters (which I was paying for mind you) and brought her to the hospital so I could see her for an hour. Sadly though, I am used to it now.
