Anyone out there have kids under 5 that have had a tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy?
If so, what was the experience like for your child, yourself, and your family?
yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift! thats why its called "the present"

Re: tonsillectomy
DD had her adenoids removed at 10 months.
The surgery itself was quick.
The only complication for us was she had trouble coming out of the anesthesia. She was inconsolable and wouldn't drink anything. They didn't want to let her go home until they saw her drink something so we were there for several hours. We were home not long after noon (we had to be at the hospital at 5am) and she was back to her normal self not long after that.
