    Because I have to...I make more $ and the family is on my health insurance.  That being said...even if this weren't the case...I would still want to work (I really like my job for the most part)...just not FT.  If I could do 3 days a week that would be perfect!

    What if it's both? I like working but also have to.  But I work PT- 30 hours a week- 3 days a week. I would like to work less hours or less days but I like the paycheck.

    We can't afford for me not to work.  I would probably still work part time if money wasn't an issue.

    We could live comfortably on DH's salary...except that we want to buy a house. And for that, I have to work.

    Both?!?

    We could easily live on DH's salary alone.  But we have long term goals (college funds, retirement) that make it so that my working is a very good idea.  Our lifestyle wouldn't change if I decided to stay home but our investments would definitely take a hit.

    Part time would be perfect.  It just isn't possible in my line of work in the location I am.

    I pay $10.50 a week for health insurance (for Gavin and I) and I make all of our extra spending money...dh's paycheck covers all the bills. Also, I have the flexibility to work 28 or so hours a week AND be home with Gavin during the day...since I work 2-7ish am. yay for both!
