we're back from ET! the news on the embies was pretty good. our clinic rates them from A-D, with A being the best. of our six that fertilized, we had one A, three A-s, and two Cs. the embryologist said nothing would come of the Cs, but they are going to freeze two A-s, and they transferred the A and the best A-. (the A was a blast, and the embryologist says the A- was on its way to becoming a blast.)
the super-full bladder-thing was agony . . . i gladly opted for the bedpan! (told DH to leave during that part.) other than that, though, it went totally smoothly. of course i would have liked to have a dozen grade A blasts, but i know that i was pretty lucky to transfer an A, A-, and still have two frosties. so i'm just trying to be grateful, count my blessings, and accept whatever happens from here!
now i'm on couch-potato rest catching up on posts. fortunately most of my ovarian soreness and bloating from ER is gone, so i'm not too uncomfortable.
thank you SO much to all of you for your support, i never cease to be amazed by the kindness and encouragement i get from the women on this board. love you guys!!!
