Do your older kiddos still wear sleep sacks?

I LOOOOVE the Carter's fleece long sleeved ones.. but Eve has really outgrown them length wise.. She only wears them when she wears PJs that aren't fleece.. if she wears a fleece sleeper we just put a onesie underneath and I think she's plenty warm..I can probably squeeze her in them for the rest of winter, she doesn't seem to mind being a  little squished in there.

I am considering whether i should buy some of the sleeveless sleep sacks in bigger sizes.. but i figure she wont' need them in the summer (no ac in her room) and then after that, she'll probably be OK to use a blanket (I do give her a blanket sometimes now for naps or in the morning if she wakes up early).. so I probably don't need them, huh?

    I don't use them for Evan. I bought one sleeveless fleece one when he was first out of the swaddleme. He sleeps better w/out it I think. I just put him in a long sleeved onesie and fleece pj's and usually some socks too.

    I use an early walker one for Evan at naptime. He has been known to play in it after nap too - if I don't get to taking it off fast enough. I felt that it was a little dangerous putting him in a sack when he started pulling up - I would picture him trying to stand but getting caught up and smacking his head on the crib. This one has foot holes so I don't have to worry about it.

    At night I use a hoodless sweatsuit.

    Nah I'd pass unless you get a great deal. Justin uses blankets and he's just fine. I check in on him right before I go to sleep and re-cover him so he doesn't wake up chilly. He wears the fleece feeted pjs every night, sometimes with a tshirt under.

    Wow - I can't believe he stays under blankets all night! I probably glance at Evan on the monitor once an hour or so throughout the night and every single time he is in an entirely different position.

    Rosie wears a sleeveless Early Walker sleepsack.  She's never slept with a blanket, and I know she's all over the crib at night, so this way I know she stays warm.

    I stopped using them with Eva once she was able to stand on her own- I had fears of her trying to "walk" in her crib and knocking her teeth out on the rail (I had some crazy thoughts cross my mind!).  Now my sister has her 3 yo still wearing one.  To each her own but I think they are unnecessary once the little ones are okay with blankets.

    Eh, we never used them. I would just layer a onesie inder his PJs. Now he's fine w/ a blanket.
