That is what all the moms say that have 2 or more....Big Smile

  • Trust me, the first year I would not have had such great things to say. It was rough and I was scared before J was. Now, it is really amazing.

I was so sick this weekend so I set up a tent in the living room with lots of blankets, books, stuffed animals and sippys. They played in there together for a long time letting me veg on the floor. The looked at books toghter, played babies and teaparty. The past 3 weeks has been amazing now that Julia gets it.

  • Good GOD.  I shouldn't have read that.  It made me sob.  :(

  • I had not read that before. Thanks for re-posting. I love it. I especially love ....

I watch how he adores you ? as I have for so long. I see how excited you are by each of his new accomplishments. And I begin to realize that I haven?t taken something from you, I?ve given something to you.

This is my absolute favorite part so far ... my youngest adoring my oldest, and my oldest getting excited when my youngest accomplishes new things. It absolutely melts my heart.

I just went to GNO and and mother just said yes that the first year is hard.. but now  she is loving it...Her lo's are 3 and 4 and 14 months apart...

  • I might be one of the rare ones but I never felt like I was giving anything up or worried that I would not love my 2nd as much as my 1st or any of the things that I hear people worry about.  From the moment I got my 2nd BFP, I was just as excited.  My older DD has done amazingly well with her little sis from day 1.  Yes, she had moments of jealousy but that is normal.  They are 21 months apart.  The girls love each other, ask for the other when not around and all that sweet loving stuff.  They really take care of each other.  Yes, they have their moments of fighting, wanting the same toy, wanting me to hold them and only them but honestly, it has all been great.  Yes, hard at times and the first 12-18 months were stressful but I would never have wanted to change a thing.

  • I really liked that poem and can't wait until that happens with me (when the love is equal and when DD stops resenting and starts nurturing).? My DD has been the center of our universe for almost 2 (maybe 3 if you count the pregnancy) and it still seems like we've only just begun.? She is in this great phase where she is starting to converse and I just hang on to her every word, so fascinated!? (granted the conversations consist of 1 to 3 word sentences, but we are clearly communicating! LOL)

I know I will love my little boy, but I know I won't be the mommy to G after he comes that I am now.? Luckily, G is a daddy's girl.? So, at least she won't be devastated, more likely just HIGHLY annoyed. Stick out tongue?
