Boo hiss... I have 2 infections!

My pain has still not been under control, so I called my OB's office for some more meds.  My nurse had me come in, and it turns out that I have a wound infection, and some sort of UTI (we don't know which kind... there was bacteria in my urine). So, I got more pain meds, and am on Augmentin for the infections. 

Good news, though.  I can start feeding Charles breast milk again!  His jaundice is under control now.

    What a bummer, good thing you called though! I just finished a round of Augmentin for an infection in my tear (nice . . .). Just wanted to say that you might want to keep an eye out for thrush since you're nursing, we're battling that now bc of the antibiotic. Hope I don't sound like Debbie Downer!!

    We've been FF for almost a week, due to jaundice.  I've been pumping like a fool, and we're going to do bottled breast milk for a couple of days, so as not to change too many things at once for him. I'll ask my doc about thrush when I see her on Monday.

    Is your c/c incision infected? Mine is & I'm kind of freaking out about it b/c I basically have this hole in my incision that looks nasty with stuff coming out of it. I've been on antibiotics but it's still oozing & I have no clue if that's normal. So I feel your pain. This whole thing is freaking me out. And reading stuff on the internet does NOT help! Hope yours heals soon!
