Pre Op Appt?

I triggered tonight at 7:45.  My ER is set for Thurs morning, but I have to go in tomorrow at 9 a.m. for a pre-op.  Did anyone have this meeting?  What did you discuss?  I think the nurse said I'm meeting with my RE, so I think it's more than blood pressure check, etc.

    I didn't do this - but I saw my RE at every appointment as he did all of my u/s.

    Maybe he just wants to sit down with you since you have seen other REs in the practice?

    Maybe, but it is a standard thing at my office.  Obviously I could have asked at our initial consult, but I kind of glossed over it.

    Maybe it is to talk to you about your preferences in terms of number of embryos transferred, etc., and to ask any final questions?  Good luck!

    I did. For me I met with the IVF fellow at the hospital who explained the procedure in detail. Then I met with the anesthesiologist who went over all my medical information that she needed to know.

    I'm not sure if it will be the same for you.

    Thanks for posting this question because I also have the pre-op appointment in my schedule (not until March) but was also wondering what that was. Good luck!!!
