ladies with lap experience

I had a lap done a month ago to remove endo. I am a week late on getting my period. I tested the first day of my missed period and got a BFN. Is this common?

    I was late the cycle after my lap - I am also always late the cycle after treatment (if I am on a break).

    Thanks. I am always on time so I was excited at first but saw the BFN and thought to myself "why would I think I could be pg" : ) I guess you loose hope after time.

    My first cycle or two after having the lap were messed up.  One month was long and the next one was short.  After that, things were right on.
