If you're on Xanax...

does it make you sleepy?  I took half a dose and  I was so drowsy - luckily DH was home to take the baby.  

Are there any anxiety meds that don't make you drowsy?

    I recently took Buspar for anxiety I was going through (family illness sparked it).  It is a twice a day everyday med that has no side effects if you wean off. I only took it for 2 weeks and was back to normal.  I had major issues with anti-depressants years ago and am VERY scared of taking things, but I am really glad I took this.  Xanax  makes me sleepy too.  I was prescribed Klonapin instead, but never took it.  It apparently doesn't make you as sleepy.
