Success after IF

In your pregnancy.....

Did you just go up a size in underwear or did you buy maternity underwear? I saw some great deals on aerie.com. I was planning on just going up a size, but I wasn't sure if that would be good enough when I was further along. I haven't needed a different size yet, and I'm 25 weeks. What will it be like when I'm 35 weeks though?????

  • I just went up a size.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • I went up a size and used grannie panties I did not see the point in wasting money on Maternity underwear.

  • I either wore my same panties and just pushed them down under my belly, lol...or bought one size bigger...

Unfortunately, I'm still wearing the bigger size :-(

  • I just went up a size and did the granny panty thing. It ended up being good because I ended up with a c-section and I really needed the granny panties then.

  • Honestly?  Went up a size and just bought the multi packs of Hanes granny panties.  Why blow money on undies that you'll only wear a short time?  That way, I had plenty of huge panties to wear after delivery as well.
  • I've been really trying not to buy many maternity clothes beyond what I need, and basically found that I now have underwear that is comfy and some that are less so now (but if they are a basic bikini style, I can manage).  The comfy ones were some VS seamless ones that seem to have a very forgiving waistband.  Hopefully, I won't regret this pp.

  • I did both. I went up a size and I bought maternity undies(I love my maternity undies). I still wear them at home even though they are too big!

I can't believe how far along you are!!! You go girl!

  • at first I went up a size and that worked pretty well, but I finally broke down and got maternity underwear a couple of weeks ago. I like it b/c it's stretchier (I got some w/spandex). Sadly, the XL maternity undies that I ordered for later in the pregnancy fit just fine right now...

  • I wore my same thongs all the way through. After delivery I wore granny panties because of all the pads I had to wear but I even stopped wearing those after a couple of weeks. I would wait until you feel you need a bigger size because you just might not need to.

  • i went up a size and opted for a 'more' coverage type I usually wear low rise bikinis. Mine are super comfy but not very hot lol
  • I stuck with my undies, but should have bought some granny panties before delivery. With the C-section, all my bikini undies hurt :(
  • I just wore my regular undies.. not even a size up.  I only gained like 14 pounds and since they were below my belly I didn't ever need new ones.

  • I could have worn my regular underwear but I wanted to be extra comfortable so I bought the next size up. Im glad I did because they came in handy after I went home from the hospital and I was recovering from my csection.

    This exactly.

  • Question on the granny panty - I'm guessing I'm going to need to buy some to wear with pads after delivery.  Do these go over your entire belly or are they simply just full butt coverage?  What would be the best to get?
  • I just went up a size.  They were perfect throughout pg, and now Tongue Tied

  • I never changed undie size. All mine are very low cut though -- super low cut because I can't stand to have anything around my mid-section. It actually makes me nauseous to. As such no resizing needed.
