motilium (domperidone)dosage?

i just ordered some of this to boost my supply. i've tried EVERYTHING... i've been drinking like 2 gallons of water a day, power pumping, oatmeal, nursing support tea, fenugreek, blessed thistle, putting her to breast more... i just can't seem to get over 160ml... and she will take about 230/feed now. :( i started supplementing with goat milk formula yesterday, and she's eating some baby foods- but I'M NOT GIVING UP ON THIS MILK THING!!! (i have size H boobs- they've got to be good for something! :)

what dosage did you guys take? (i didn't know if it was weird... like with reglan the neos gave me a dosage of one, then two, all the way to 4 a day, then stay at 4 for a week, then taper off. the withdrawal is nasty if you don't go slow.)

    The pharm. told me to take 3 10 mg caps 3 times per day or 2 10 mg caps 4 times per day.  He also gave me a handout with instructions for coming off.  I am at work but will post the link to the handout when I get home.

    I started at 3 pills 3x/day. I had to go up later as he was taking more milk.

    I can send you some pills if you would like.  I never ended up taking them (someone on here sent them to me).  Let me know!  Just message me your address again on Facebook if you want them.

    I also read 3 10 mg tablets 3 times per day.

    Also, I am just in complete shock--Wren eats almost 8 ounces at a time???  Are you serious???  How much does she weigh now?  She must be packing on the pounds!  Stella eats probably less than half of what Wren does--usually 16-19 oz/day [fortified so it's more like 20-24 oz a day, plus it has rice cereal in it for her reflux, but still!] plus a couple of tbsp. of baby food twice a day.  She weighs about 12.5 pounds...  Wren's appetite absolutely amazes me!

    i wish she weighed a lot! 

    in fact, the last appointment she still was under 11. :( we're all small people, and in my husbands family as well as mine all the kiddos weigh less than 20lbs at a year.. so we're hoping she's just smallish. we've got another appointment with the dietician soon. i'm just hoping she's doing ok. (not working too hard breathing or anything.) i just can't figure out where all that goes!!!

     

    she is taking 6-8 oz at every feed, plus at least half a jar of baby food. i don't even know what's normal...

    thanks! rachel is going to send me hers.. if they work for me i'll take all i can get! :) sorry i didn't respond then.. i have a tendency to skim, and not always check older dated posts. :) (and i just decided today to try some medical intervention!)
