Achy belly and painful backache

Does anyone else have an achy belly? Mine started as a slight back ache on the right side that is horribly painful and now has spread around to make my belly ache but not really a painful belly...Heat pads, vibrating massager and warm baths haven't made any difference. Any other suggestions to try for comfort?

  • Im in the same boat.  I will be watchin to see what others recommend!

  • are you talkin about bad lower back aches and tummy aches down at the bottom kinda like a harsh period cramp? cause if so i started feeling this about 15 min ago and was starting to get worried about it too...lol
  • I feel this all the time when I'm overdoing it.  The only thing that helps me is to lay down with my feet up and/or sleep.  Oh, and to drink tons and tons of water.
  • My backache runs from mid to lower back but above the hips on the right side only (left side feels just fine) and the achy abdomen is generally all over and rather gentle compared to a harsh period like cramps. Those cramps are one thing I don't miss at all while being pregnant! :-) The really low cramps in the belly sound like RLP and I think those can run from mild to extremely painful...

Same here -- it always feels better in the morning and worse at night.

Round Ligament Pain and it comes from a ligament band that stretches across the front of the uterus, as baby grows this ligament has to stretch to accommodate. it hurts some women and some women don't even notice - I fortunately didn't have any but my SIL had it BAD with her third child...
