how can two kids be so different?

Seriously!

Rylee has been off the weight charts since 2 months old... Kai is holding steady at a mere 50% (I have a baby!)

Rylee HATED to cuddle... Kai LOVES it and LOVES to be worn...

Rylee loved food from the start...loved loved loved solids... Kai wants nothing to do with them...

Rylee never wanted to sleep with us... Kai loves and prefers it!

Rylee loves her paci... Kai hates his...

Rylee hated teething toys... Kai loves his!

Seriously... everything that Rylee either loves or hates - Kai is the exact opposite! Its so fun!

    That's how my kids are. Complete opposites in every way. DH and I were talking about it and DS takes after him in almost every way and DD takes after me. We have our own mini-me!

    Mine are opposites, too. It's baffling to me, and I've actually had a difficult time dealing with DS2's clingyness because it doesn't feel "normal" since DS1 was so independent. :(

    All I wanted and *literally* prayed for was a cuddler... and I got it!

    Rylee sounds just like DS. He hats cuddling and sleeping with us and is very independent in general.  I keep saying that I hope my next one is more of a mama's boy/girl. Its really cool how they're each born such individuals. Lol your post gives me hope for a cuddler!
