  My husband & I decided on the crib then went from there. Most sets offer either a standard crib or a 3 in 1. Once that was decided we went over furniture pieces, I knew I wanted a hutch on top of the dresser & neither of us wanted a changing table. Most sets didn't offer a hutch so that helped. The last thing we decided was the color as most set come in a variety that really didn't matter. Best advice I can give is when you find your set price around, we found a set at buy buy baby the we wanted but was over our budget. I went online & found the manufacturer then looked into different distributors & ended up getting it from this place called Crib & Bed Outlet, they had great prices & were great to deal with....good luck

  we bought ours from buy buy baby and we turned the hutch into a changing table as well...i loved the selection they had in comparison to a lot of other places...the only draw back was the 10-12 week back order...that seems to be the norm though

   i also have a co-worker that went to the crib and bed outlet in lombard (?) and she we super pleased...good luck!

  Cribs to College Bedrooms in Naperville, IL....biggest kids furniture store and best selection in the midwest!
