...that we only got home from Mexico on Saturday and I'm already surfing vacations for May? I'm trying to convince DH to go back to Hawaii for our 5 year anniversary/his birthday. I think I have a shot at actually making it happen!
I love researching travel and reading/learning about different places. Am I alone in this? I'm also doing a little shopping for my 2 sisters who want to take vacations this spring and a coworker's honeymoon in October.
<--Travel junkie. I think I'd be really good at travel agent type sales, but it seems with the internet that they get used less and less, so I'd imagine the job security isn't that great.

Re: Is it wrong? (NGPR)
Nope, not wrong at all!
I am the same way when planning vacations. I do so much research before booking a trip and then planning before the trip. I love it.
It is not wrong.
I love surfing and looking for cruises that I would like to go on, cities that I would like to visit, etc. I haven't done it so much since DH has lost his job, because it is too frustrating to see places that we would like to go but can't afford. Once he finds a job again, though, my surfing will resume!
Hell no.
One of our new clients is a trekking adventure company. Though the only real trekking I like to do on vacation is back and forth to the bar, working with them is making me think that a holiday is in order.

I would love to go to Hawaii.... ::sigh::
I'm jealous of all the tropical vacay plans you have this year - and I would be just as excited to plan for hawaii! I'm going to have to live vicariously through you MSC. Our trips this year will consist of Oklahoma and Santa Cruz, CA.. I want to do an all inclusive trip to Mexico for my 30th (in December), but I'm hoping I'll be pregnant instead.
I love researching and booking vacations! Last year DH and I went to Hawaii and then 4 months later took a two week cruise so I don't think it is wrong at all.
I am an executive assistant and I am basically spend my days booking travel ( we have a travel agency but sometimes they move too slow and he likes to have a million options) for the executive I support. Sometimes it makes me sad that I have booked trips to places/countries that I will never be able to go see but then again he never gets to see his family. I like researching all the options though.

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
Holla!
Seriously, this sounded like me on our cruise.
Or even better when they come to you! I adore a Cabanna boy!
lol.
How was the HSG or is that later?
I absolutely do this too, I like to book 6 months in advance. Hawaii would make a great babymoon! I highly recommend the Big Island, let me know if you want any info. I have been there twice and have some local hookups through DH's niece and nephew who live there - surf lessons, scuba, sportfishing, whathaveyou.
The HSG is in about an hour - thanks for asking! The ultrasound was this morning. The cyst was still there..boooo. It's on my dominant side. I posted below (way below). Do you know anything about endometrial cysts?
I know a bit, but not much. Flokat and a few other do though. GL with the hsg!
Thanks Cathy!
Sorry MSC...carry on!
We went to Maui on our honeymoon (LOVED IT!) and this time I'm thinking Kauai. I've found some crazy good packages on orbitz.
I've still got my fingers crossed that you'll have a baby in your arms by then! ;-)
And we just did the all inclusive in Mexico if you want to chat it up one day about our trip.
Now that I've been spoiled with "just us" vacations, family vacations just aren't the same. We also went on vacation with another couple once and we had a blast but it still was not the same.
You know I have zero problem with post-pirating. Go for it!
And good luck on your HSG!
