I think you have to have VIP, and they base it off prior cycles. I'm not sure how many cycles you have to have entered before they start forecasting.
I don't know how many cycles you have to have either. I do know that I have been charting for a very, very long time. As soon as I start AF (cd 1), FF already has a range of "green days" predicted for me at that time. I would think if they're not on your chart by now, you might not have enough cycles in for FF to make a prediction.

FF will tell you AFTER you O. Once your temps go up for 3 days straight it will give you crosshairs for 4 days prior to that which means that FF is really more helpful for tracking if you O, but not really good at helping you time sex (at least not until you have estabilshed a pattern). HTH!
FF also predicts a range of ovulation days as well. I think you just need to have a given number of cycles charted before it will make that prediction.
Thanks ladies that makes sense. This is my second time charting, but first charting cycle for baby number two. When we were trying for baby number one I started charting after AF, but only charted that first month since we got pregnant that cycle.
Click on "Calendar" instead of "Chart" up at the top. It'll forecast days as long as you have one cycle charted. Since you're only charting your 2nd cycle, it may not be very reliable, though. They like for you to have 2 cycles before they're confident in the forecasting.

I think this is true too. When I signed for VIP it forecasted mine for my 2nd cycle. (It just gave me a wide window of time, but did forecast.)
Both of these things, yes.
