Nope! I have a very weak stomach and I made sure to let all the doctors and nurses know ahead of time. I also let them know that I almost puked and passed out with my first c-section, so they gave me some good drugs and everything went so smoothly this time. Nothing like I had expected! Good luck! (On a side note: the medicine they gave me to calm me down made me really itchy for day or so...I had to take lots of Benadryl)
I did not throw up, but I won't lie, I was super nauseous afterwards. I believe it was the pain meds they had me on...so I came close to vomiting a few times after the c-sect (like 3-5 hours afterwards). When I told the nurses I was not feeling well, they gave me anti-nausea meds, which kept it under control until I was off the pain meds.

I can't even describe how much I was sick. I was sick twice from the fentanyl before the section then all during my surgery I was vomitting the colors of the rainbow. However let me say that I had two spinal blocks because the first didn't take but I didn't get my anti nausea meds until after DS was delivered.
I did puke! I actually completely forgot about it until I read your question. But yea I couldn't hold anything down for the first day so they had me on a liquid diet! I'm sure it depends on the person like everything but it wasn't fun!
I did feel nauseous, but I didn't puke. Everytime I felt like I was going to puke I told the anesthesia nurse and she put a lovely drug in my IV that made the feeling go away. I understand your puking phobia, since I absolutely hate to puke. I will feel awful for hours before I'll finally give in and throw up. I was very proud of myself because I made it through my entire pregnancy, delivery and recovery without puking.
I didn't puke, but I was REALLY sick to my stomach for the first couple of hours after I woke up (I had general instead of local) because of the pain meds. I got something to take care of that and stopped the pain meds as soon as I could and went to Advil. I was fine after that.

I did not get sick at all. My only issue was that I couldn't stop shaking...it was a combination of the epidural and my own nerves, but I was shaking uncontrollably right before they started it.
i totally puked --like 4 times. i don't ever take anything--not even aspirin, so between the epidural and the meds in the IV, i was sick the entire first day. my C was at 8 am and by 11pm i was better.

I didn't puke but I was nauseous. I told the anesthesiologist and he gave me a medicine that took the nausea away. Unfortunately, I was still shaking uncontrollably, was freezing, and had shoulder pain, so I was still miserable.

I feel you on the puking phobia. I HATE puking, I was so afraid of morning sickness when I got pregnant, but thankfully did not have any. I did not puke during the c section, I did start to feel like i was going to get sick and they gave me something that got rid of that quickly. If you start to feel like you might get sick, let them know and maybe they can give you something to prevent it.
I puked several times. Once before the c-section even started. A couple of times while I was in the recovery room and several times once I was back in our room. It wasn't bad though because I didn't have anything in my stomach. Mine was planned so I hadn't had anything to eat or drink since midnight. The waves of nausea came very quickly and as soon as I puked I felt much better. Ice chips were my best friend for almost a day. I didn't eat anything until the next morning.

Honestly - Puking is a big deal to me too and after my first c-section I just calmly asked for something to throw up in. I was so out of it with all the meds that throwing up just wasn't that traumatic.
After my first c/s I threw up all day and no one thought to give me nausea meds until that night. I was on a liquid diet that day and soft foods the next. But after my second c/s I knew better. The very SECOND I began to feel nauseous I asked for meds in my IV and I felt fine.
Also some women (myself included) have a very intense reaction to the rapid drop in blood pressure that comes from getting a spinal and laying down on the table. That also can result in nausea and vomiting. During my second c/s I knew to speak up immediately and got a drug called Ephedrine that stabilized my blood pressure. Just stay on top of things and tell the staff how you are feeling. HTH!
I JUST HAD MY 3RD C SEC 2 WEEKS AGO & FOR THE FIRST TIME, I ACTUALLY DID GET SICK. AFTER SHE WAS OUT & THEY HAD BEEN SEWING ME BACK UP I STARTED GETTING REALLY NAUSEOUS. I TOLD THE ANESTH. & HE GAVE ME SOMETHING BUT IT DIDNT WORK FAST ENOUGH & I WAS BASICALLY DRY HEAVING B/C MY STOMCH WAS EMPTY. ANESTH. HELD A CONTAINER BY MY MOUTH & MY STOMCH CONVULSED A FEW TIMES & THEN I WAS FINE. NOT MY BEST C SEC EXPERIENCE! I ALSO ENDED UP GETTING NAUSEOUS A FEW HRS AFTER SURGERY & ASKED FOR MEDS WHICH QUICKLY KICKED IN. ANESTH. TOLD ME IT OFTEN HAPPENS WHEN THEY'RE WORKING ON THE SUBCUTANEOUS LAYER OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
No - I never really felt queasy. I was actually starving and could not wait to eat. I downed a sandwich when I got to the room and the nurse told me I could eat.
The only time I got sick to my stomach was the last morning. My milk came in and I ate a light breakfast before DS ate and must not have had enough in my stomach for the medicine I took.
Re: If you had a c-section...
I just responded to you on 3rd tri!

ditto
I didn't puke, but I had the shakes really bad.
My twin sister did puke for both her 2 kids c-sections.
