Hi Ladies!
I'm a long time lurker, now officially in 2nd tri so I'm coming out of the woodwork.
My LO is due at the end of July and I want a wrap that won't be too hot. I've used the Moby while nannying and both baby and I got warm really fast. I've heard good things about bamboo wraps but was wondering if anyone had first hand experience.
A friend sent me a link to Lovey Duds Bamboo Wraps and they look really nice but I'm wondering if they're worth the cash.
I'd love to hear about your bamboo wrap experiences or hear recommendations about good summer weight wraps.
Re: Bamboo wrap or other hot weather wraps?
I haven't personally tried the Lovey Duds ones so I can't say if they are really thinner or not. I use woven wraps - there are wovens that are definitely thinner/cooler than the moby. While they are more $$, you can use them much longer as they won't stretch out with a heavier baby like the moby will - they work with toddlers too. You can back carry with them as well.
I have info in my siggy about wraps if you want to take a peak. Buying used - check out thebabywearer.com and the FSOT forum - is a great way to save money.
