Vaporizer or Humidifier??? Pls. recommend yours...

Not sure which one to get but I definitely need something since James wakes up every morning congested.

The boogies I've been aspirating out of his nose are adult size! porr little nose. He's snorting all the time.

I think a humidifier or vaporizer (not sure what the difference is) would help while he sleeps.

Thoughts?

i just bought the cheapest sunbeam one at walmart (warm air humidifier). Its helped a lot!

We bought this one from Target.

After I put it in his room, he gets far less huge boogers and sounds much better. The tank lasts forever too...I keep in set on low and I've only had to fill it once in 2 months.

I believe the only difference is that a humidifier blows out cool air and a vaporizer steams it and is hot. For that reason, I prefer the humidifier. Seems safer around a baby, even though she's not really near it, I don't want any chance of her getting burned.

I just bought a cool mist one. ?I had no idea that there was a difference until I got to the store. ?I have been meaning to post the same question for a week now. ?I'll be interested to see what other people say.

I asked my doctor this at Brittyn's two month appt. She said a cool mist humidifier is the best. She told me to stay away from the warm mist vaporizers. Cool is better.
