Originally we agreed on 4 max, but now I'd be okay with just our one. I had a terrible pregnancy, an even worse delivery and a HORRENDOUS recovery. I'd be a-okay to never sign up for that again.
Now if we could afford to adopt, I'd be all over that and adding babies to the family like crazy.
We are undecided if it will be 2 or 3. We will make the decision when #2 comes! (and no has nothing to do with gender. It will just depend if our family feels "complete" after #2 or not)

I would love 4 as well! Not sure if I could actually handle that so we've agreed to take it one baby at a time. (Unless we get multiples of course.) DH was an only child and I am one of five. I'm thinking I'll be lucky to convince him on three.

I am hoping for 3 but not sure how we will be able to afford 3 in daycare and we'd need a bigger house, we only have 3 bedrooms now. So we may have to wait and see how the financial situation is at that time.
I'm okay with just having DS and SD. I REALLY miss being pregnant tho here lately (no where close to how much I love having DS here tho). I think it is because SO's brother's GF is pregnant and so is his aunt (with twins).
We will decide after #2. This is totally TMI, but I had vulvar varicosities during my pregnancy. They developed around 32 weeks and were really painful. My MFM specialist said that they would return in subsequent pregnancies...and earlier, too. I am not sure if that is true. I will see what happens next time and take it from there. Luckily, they go away after the baby is born!
Unfortunately, I think DD is our last. I would love to have one more but we would be taking a huge risk. The short version -- complications with my health (caused by pregnancy) risked DD's life and there is a good chance it would happen again. I think we'll just leave it in Gods hands. If He wants us to have another, I guess it will just happen.
One is good for me TYVM... I know this may sound weird, but I look at LO and I can't imagine giving him less than 100% of my love and attention. I know mothers are capable and do it all the time, but I just can't see it...so one and done for me!
3 maybe 4 is my ideal but it will depend when we get there. We agreed to just see where we are financially after each child to see if more is feesable.
we just started talking about how we will need a bigger place when the next comes along...i see us having another while we are in HK and then a couple more if that is what is meant to be!
Everyone always makes me sound crazy for wanting 4. It's good to see I'm not alone. Now if I could just figure out a way to not be pregnant for the next 4 years...
2 would be nice but i'd be perfectly content w/ just dd too.
