This is actually a question for my sis-in-law as we are still expecting but she is looking for a local preschool in the Naperville/Oswego area. Any recs? TIA!
well it's not a preschool, but my friend/neighbor here in south naperville watches a few kids out of her home and just had a baby drop out (a family member lost their job and is watching the baby instead). anyway she was a teacher and her husband is a teacher too, so they are great with kids and she is very nice. they have 3 of their own kids. it's not a certified daycare, but if your sis-in-law is interested i could give you her email address. send me a pm if you want to know more.
Good Shepherd Lutheran church on 75th (near Rickert intersection) has an amazing preschool program!! Absolutely wonderful for the kids and EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE. (They even offer spanish sessions and Musik Garten time!) I researched like crazy before enrolling my son here (two years now!) and they are literally more than HALF the price of some of the other "preschools" that are more like glorified day care. They offer different program lengths: 2, 3 and 4 day options, morning or afternoon time slots and I have heard they are even implementing an "Almost 3" class for children that didn't quite make the cut-off for preschool but are needing that social development time in a gentle and safe environment. Check it out! They are the best kept preschool secret in the area!
