NTR: I love love love Verizon

They finally have service in our area.  We called to sign up today and got:

Cable, internet and phone

12 months free Showtime

6 months free Internet

Free Compaq Netbook

for $95 a month ($70 for the first 6 months!)

It's sad that I'm giddy over cable. Because we'll have a home phone now, we'll save money on our alarm system too.

    I have Verizon for my cell and the service isn't great here. I didn't even know they did cable, etc.

    Sounds awesome but keep an eye on your bill.  They keep screwing up the bill at work (accidentally knocking 1 of the items in the package out of the package).  Easy to fix but kind of annoying at times.

    I loved them when I first signed up, too.  Since then (April 2009) we have been on the phone with either customer service or tech support an average of about once a week.  They suck.  I hope your experience is different from ours!

    We have FIOS the fiber optic service and it is damn good.

    We had FIOS at our last house and never had a problem.  We've been waiting very NOT patiently for them to come to this area!
