Rec. your nursing tank

I want to get 1 or 2 for the hospital and the first week or two at home.  I don't want to buy an actual bra until I know what size I'll need.  I'm assuming the tanks are a little more flexible.

So, which nursing tanks do you love?

TIA

Re: Rec. your nursing tank

  • I love my bravado nursing tank.

  • Bravado for sure. Its forgiving. I have one target brand that I wear only when the bravado is dirty, b/c it doesn't have as much support.
  • I got the Target tanks. They are fine, imo. I got the Large and I'm a DD and a size 10 I think (was a size 8 pre-pg). It still gives clevage a bit but I think they all do unless its a really high front. Those heavy boobs weigh things down!

I wanted to say that if I could go back I would have just gotten 2 nursing bras in my pre-delivery size instead of getting the 2 sleep bras I got. They weren't useful after the first few weeks postpartum and I needed the support of a real bra and going out early PP to bra shop was a PITA! I didn't end up changing sizes but even if I did, I would have rather had something that supported than nothing.

Oh, and its harder to sleep in the tanks if you get fuller at night cause its hard to keep those nipple pads covering the nipple when you flip side to side. its not the pads its the fact that your nipples shift.

  • I think I am a DD right now, but I love the Target tanks. I get the medium ones, which was what I wore before I got pregnant. They're snug, so they're more supportive. I haven't had a problem with them yet, except one got stained with lanolin already. :(

  • bravado are great - but get professionally fitted at a post-pardum store.

  • I have a few Target tanks that I live in right now, but just ordered a Bravado one yesterday. I'm excited to get it. The Target ones are great, but I feel like they do kinda smoosh my bbs, and it's not flattering in a real shirt, so I"m hoping the Bravado one is good when I really need to get dressed:)
