2nd Trimester
Sonic - I've never been but want to try it. Please suggest what to get.
Does anyone have a favorite thing to get there? I have heard so much about it, but have never been to one. They just opened one up near me, so I thought I would give it a try, but don't want to just randomly pick something from the menu.
Any suggestions?

Sonic is DELICIOUS! I like almost everything there.
I usually get a chocolate dr. pepper or a cherry diet coke for a drink.
I like their burgers and texas toast sandwiches! mmmm
Cheery Limeade's are the best!!

Thank you all. Cherry Limeade it is (and maybe a chocolate Dr. Pepper on the way home - sounds interesting). I'll have to try one of the sandwiches/burgers mentioned too.

Blue coconut slushes and Ocean Waters are really good. I also love cheddar bites with ranch dressing, but it's a "local favorite" so I don't know if it will be at yours.

No Sonic in Michigan?! You guys have been missing out.
You can't go wrong with a lemon berry slush or a cranberry lime slush. The cranberry one is made with cranberry juice rather than just flavoring. You can get just about any slush with ice cream mixed in as well.
I don't get their regular food very often, but their "happy hour" is very popular here, especially during the hot summer days. Drinks are half price during happy hour. Be sure to get tater tots!
I'm not a fan of cherry, so i always get the Strawberry Limeade. That and the cheddar peppers! Mmmmmm, i have such a weakness for those.

I am not too far from you, just over the state line in OH! We just got a few Sonics in the last 2 years. The cherry limeade is amazing...they do have a "diet" version which is what I always get. Their cheeseburgers and tots are really good too. The blue coconut slush is tasty and you can get it with ice cream in it (as you can with any of their drinks). I have a friend who gets cherry lime Cokes there, which I have admittedly never tried but sound really good.
I may have to drive across town to Sonic for a diet cherry limeade tomorrow
If it just opened be ready to wait in line. One opened around here recently and it had over a 2 hour wait for the first 2 or 3 months and it caused all kinds of problems on the road it was off of.
PS - The slush is divine.
