breast fed poo's with cloth diapers

This might be silly because obviously I know they are going to stain, but just wondering if anyone did anything different. I have bum genius diapers......is there anything special that I should be doing when she goes poo. I'm breast feeding so it's all liquid. Quite a mess and stains too. ANy pointers on getting the stains out???

the sun took ALL bf stains out for me

and then when we started solids, it took most out

Have you tried sunning them? Put them outside stain side up on a sunny day (doesn't have to be warm -- just sunny). It's amazing what the sun can do.

My stained but over lots of washes and over time they faded - now I use her previous hemp prefolds as burp cloths and you hardly see the stains. I am going to sun-bleach a few after I get up the courage to ask yet-another-stupid-question (Do you put them in the sun wet, or after drying in the dryer?)

I bought a few that had stains and squirted Bacout on them, washed them, and hung them (still with stains) in a window that received lots of sun. Stains gone!

I was skeptical about the sun-bleaching, but I finally tried it this week and was amazed. About 5 hours in the sun (I put them out dry, still worked) and some seriously nasty staining was completely gone. Hardest part was chasing the one sunny-spot across my yard all afternoon. :P
