Seriously Mom?! Seriously?!
I just called my Mom to let her know how the ultrasound went and whatnot, and in the middle of me telling her she says "Oh, your brother has a favour to ask of you. You know that tape that Mr. Flemming gave you of Dad drumming in CRUNCH {his band in the 70's}? Well your brother would like a copy, he left his in British Columbia"
Really?! I f'n lost it! This is the same brother who sexually, mentally, emotionally and physically abused me for YEARS and turned to drug abuse as a means of coping with our Dad's death in 2005. He's made it perfectly clear that he will not have a relationship with me, even though I've tried to open the lines of communication and tried to be understanding and encourage him to get mental help and to get into rehab for his addictions.
I am SO angry! I lost it on my mom and then she had the gall to say "let's not talk about this now Shanny, I don't need this right now" Oh yes, I forgot! It's all about you right now isn't it?! F YOU!

And what's worse is that I'm going to be the one who comes out looking like the bad guy because I yelled at her.
