I know I'll need a double stroller. DD used her stroller al the time. We went for walk around the neighborhood a lot and I plan to do it again when DS arrives in the summer.
Anyhow, DD will be about 18 months when DS arrives. And I have a Graco carset for DS (which I hope to lock into the stroller). Can anyone give me a good recommendation on a double stroller? I can't afford the Phil and Ted one.
TY!
Re: Double Stroller advice please
17 months apart here.
I wore the baby and used the single stroller for the toddler a LOT in the beginning so my hands were free to deal with the toddler.
Then when the baby got too big to carry as comfortably the older one was kinda over being confined to the stroller and greatly preferred the freedom of the sit and stand.
My recommendation is to wait to buy anything until closer to the time you'll need it.
You can start out wearing the baby and using the single until you get a better feel for your needs.
But... if you really really want a double now we got a used Graco duo glider off Craigslist and it worked fine with the car seat. We used it maybe 5 times before we realized how much more practical the sit and stand was and re-sold it.
They make sit and stands with a removable 2nd seat. I'd look in that direction instead of a conventional double as you'll likely get more use out of it longer.
