What do you think of putting this with R's name and middle name above her crib in lime green and pink? Above this would be a large brown frame with a newborn photo.

I like the name plaque, but I think hanging a large newborn photo of her over her crib would be overkill.

But then again, I'm not a fan of hanging a picture of a person in that person's room. does that make sense? Like, if I were living at home and had a room to myself, I wouldn't hang up a picture of just me. It feels narcissistic.

I love the sign, and I also think that it is enough without the pic. I think its fine to have pics in the room, but not right above the name.

No! I don't disagree or think it's narcissistic to hang up pictures of your family or wedding day or such all over your house. we have those up, too. But I wouldn't hang up a large picture of my son in my son's room. Or a picture of just me over the fireplace.

Like, if I lived alone, I'd put up pictures of me with family/friends, but I wouldn't put up pictures of JUST me. That's what feels narcissistic.
