Unexpected U/S today

So I called my OB yesterday b/c I had just noticed a decrease in baby's movements over the last 2-3 days. By the time I called it was too late in the day for me to get into the office so they sent me to L&D. They did a NST and baby's HB looked good but the Dr told me I had a bit of an "Irritable Uterus". I thought he was just using that terminology but it turns out that is real thing. Apparently it means that the uterus (for a variety of reasons) is having tiny contractions. I haven't felt anything close to a contraction - not even BH. So they told me to take it easy and drink lots of fluids b/c sometimes dehydration can cause this.

Dr said I was due for an U/S anyway so I called to set something up for next week and they are having me come in today for a "biophysical profile", which includes an NST and an indepth U/S.

I am nervous now that something is wrong....please say a prayer that its nothing! 1 PM is only 2 hours away but seems like such a long time to wait now! Crying

I hope it goes well, prayer said for you and LO. I am glad that they got you in quickly so you don't have to worry over the weekend. Please take it easy.

My LO doing the same thing this week, I called about a hour ago just to see what they would say, still waiting for a call back.
