Conversations with triplets..
This happened earlier..
So keith is out of town this week for work, last
night for a treat I let the kids take turns taking a bath in our room
and watching tv on our bed.
Kalie was last when I get her out of the tub and am trying to dry her off she says to me
"Mom, I will dry my winny, its my privates and you should not touch it"
It
took all I had not to bust out laughing. I explained to her, yet again,
that she does not have a winny, she has a vagina, a monkey or a frog
but never a winny.
she said
"but the boys have a winny, I
want a winny, why can I not have a winny, mom can you make doug or jm
give me their winny and I can give them my vagesta"
okay by this time I am rolling on the floor. I can not help it.

then says "there is no way I am giving her my winny, I like it, it
makes going potty easier and I do not want to potty out of my but like
kalie does"

"No, Way mom. I am keeping mine, what would I play with in the bathtub if I did not have one"
so
we have a winny and a vegesta... I have always called them penis and
vagina to them. Just goes to show they are going to call it what they
call it.

my best advice is get them on a sleep/eating schedule as soon as possible. when one wakes up wake the other two up and feed them all at the same time. or one after another at least and journal everything. my trio's baby books are packed plus I started a journal when I was pregnant, I continued it when they were in the NICU, which helped me to get closer to them and feel like they were with me.
that is another thing. Level three NICU is a must. and go tour it early. Take your lamze class around 12 to 15 weeks, same as a multiples if they offer it in your area. Drink as much water as you can, then when you think you can not drink anymore drink more.. water is your friend, your best friend right now. Stay hydrated and LISTEN to your peri. if he says rest then rest.
go now and get tons of books, things to read, things to keep you busy for when you get put on bed rest, register as soon as you can and plan your shower for around 20 weeks.
Do not purchase a stroller just yet, We were told to wait till at least week 28 to buy ours.
24 weeks your babies are viable, however 28 weeks should be your goal, at 28 weeks NICU doctors and Nurses can do miracles.. mine were 31 weekers..
