Is there anyplace around here where I can get good nursing bras? I already went to Destination Maternity at the Falls but it seems like all of their nursing bras are padded. I don't really want to be in a padded bra, gonna be big enough on my own. Any other stores you know of? The major dept stores don't seem to have much.
Re: Where to get nursing bras?
this. i got mine at target and they were each like $12, they were great quality and they have nursing tanks too!
I get mine at Nordstrom, but they seem to have stopped carrying them in the store. They do have them online, though, and you can order plenty and return the ones that don't fit back to the store in person. Definitely pricey, but since I've been wearing a nursing bra almost every day for nearly 3 years, I find it worth the price. In fact, I just last week ordered a new one since my old ones were no longer the right size (I have them in several sizes, since I fluctuated through my second pregnancy and post-partum, and they eventually stretched out a bit). This reminds me that I have to go to Nordstrom-- I have to return the three bras I ordered that I am not keeping!
I initially used the ones from Motherhood or Mimi Maternity and BRU, but they never lasted very long, and I found that the padding bunched up. I couldn't wear them to work. I prefer the non padded version, and I use a nursing pad if necessary for leaks.

Can you tell me which Target you went to and what section (underwear or maternity)? I work near the one on Kendall and 152 ave and I've been there a billion times looking and never found anything.
TIA!
That hadn't occurred to me, thanks for the idea. With DD I just wore nursing pads but they did show through sometimes. But I remember being in a lot of pain when I was in a bra that wasn't soft, so that's what worries me about the padding, don't want to be squishing anything. Maybe I'll try one to see how it goes.
Are they cotton or the smoother materials (spandex/lycra etc)? I'll check online to see what it says about them. Thanks.
i bought mine in the target in pembroke pines, but i just went to the target in miami shores last week and saw them there. they are in the section of the bras...they're kind of hard to spot b/c they're all together with regular bras. you will notice them b/c they have a clip on each cup. the look like this:
https://www.target.com/s/191-1127347-3136813?_encoding=UTF8&search-alias=tgt-index&keywords=nursing%20bra&searchSize=30&ref=sr_bx%5F1%5F1&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=1038576&searchPage=1&searchRank=target104545
Thanks. I'll try looking again now that I know what they look like. If not I'll order online, I'm just worried about the fit because I'm a huge PITA when it comes to under garments.
THANK YOU!
Target. Comfy and inexpensive. I remember getting a nursing tank top. They were wonderful. I have them saved for last time.
I 2nd (or maybe it is 3rd 4th or 5th) Target
I am on month 11 of breastfeeding and wear mostly the nursing tanks i got from Target - they work great - I did have to about month 5-6 get a few new ones as the ones i had started to get worn out but I only had 3-4 that i washed and rotated so they were also getting pretty worn.
Target had these awesome sleep bras for nursing too - they were like a loose sports bra but i havent seen them in a while but i did find them at walmart they are comfy too!
i second Intimacy in Aventura Mall. That's where I get all my bras. They fit you for each one.
I guess it just depends on how big you are. There is no way in hell that my huge porn star pregnancy boobs were fitting in target bras. my wallet wishes that were the case. lmao.
