Success after IF

Dr Oz will be talking about IF in a few mins

Not sure what exactly it's going to be about, I'm just glad to see it being covered by a talk show. I have felt like it has been ignored for to long!

Re: Dr Oz will be talking about IF in a few mins

  • I taped it this morning and I just watched it.  The couple has just received basic testing after trying for 18 months on their own.  It's actually very short and not thorough about infertility in general at all.

I had issues with Dr. Oz telling the woman that her 27-29 day cycles mean that everything is fine with her and she has no hormonal issues, but other than that it was well done, just brief. :)

The couple was brave for just starting out.  I wish them the best!

  • It was so disappointing! And I agree-- his glib comment about "oh, your weight is normal, your cycle is normal, your age is OK, your FSH is OK, so you're fine" was so... frustrating! Because I have a normal weight and a normal cycle and yet I'm "unexplained". Just way too brief, a 10 minute segment at best.

  • I was disapointed too. Too brief and short. But also glad it was brought up.

Hmm, my weight, cycle, age, and FSH are all within normal acceptable ranges.... And I have Stage IV endo.  That's definitely not fine!
