I figured you girls are a lot more creative, so here it goes.

I need some cute wording ideas for shower invites. I just can't seem to find anything that i like. I really haven't seen that many options either though. 

Anyone want to play and give me ideas? I'll give you a cookie Wink

    Honestly, cutesy invitation wording makes me want to gag.

    "X is hosting a shower for Amor on X date at X location. RSVP by X date--we hope you can make it!" should suffice.

    I'm pretty sure she could have figured out how to put the basics on there, but some people like the cutesy poems and stuff. I think that's more what she was looking for. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean she shouldn't do it...

    As for invites, look for non-traditional.  SIL made mine look like the Golden Book The Pokey Little Puppy.  When you opened it up, the shower invite info was on the inside and she asked everyone to bring a book instead of a card to build Joshua's library.

    Thanks! Sorry for the delay in response, i was out to lunch.

    My best friend just finished making little notes about the books to add to the invites. Little teddy bears with the saying in them. I think it's such a great idea!
