How are you spending Vday this year?

We're going out with DS's Godparents who are having a little girl this weekend. DS "got" their DD a cute pair of barrettes and socks that say "be mine" so basically we are spending this Vday chaperoning our kids on their first date.

How are you spending it?

I'm a NASCAR fan so hopefully watching the Daytona 500, but I am hoping that DH will plan an date night around then.

We go to a champagne breakfast hosted by my Dad's VFW post but we don't do alot. Hopefully DH will plan a date around then, since we haven't been on a date since before Carter was born, but who knows. I usually have to drop very blatant hints ti get something like that.

Following our tradition -we're going to get really dressed up and then go eat at Mel's Drive-in complete with cheeseburgers and chocolate malt milkshakes. DD will join us this year and wear something pink & red of course!

Hopefully gettin' some... haha. I'll be just about 6 weeks PP then. If not, we're going to make Daddy a special dinner to thank him for taking care of us so well.

Well, it will be my 2nd wedding anniversary...didn't mean to get married on this date, but we were buying a house together and thought why not get married & the first available day after the marriage license waiting period ended was Vday at the courthouse...so thus I have a super cheesy anniversary.

My mom will be in town and is leaving on the 14th, so DH and I will probably go out on the 13th. Last year he surprised me by taking me to the restaurant we went to on our first date. So we decided it would be our tradition to do every year.

Valentine's Day will be DS' baptism, so we will be in church and then having a reception after! I'm very excited for him... it's baby's first party!!!!!
