The radio just said that a ploce officer was shot on a road in J's area today. (He's at work right now.)
He wasn't answering his cell, 2 other wives called wanting to know if J is okay, I haven't been able to get thru to the station on any of the phone lines.
I threw up. I left a message on J's cell to call me and tell me he's okay. I cried.
I remembered that I have the Verizon cell direct line phone # w/ the station, and after 4 tries, I got thru.
J is okay. An officer is down. The situation is still in progress. They don't know when J will get to come home.
That's all I know.
Somebody w/ a gun, who has already shot one officer, is out there still, and my husband is where he is.
I'm a *little* upset.

It is scary, for sure. Just try to remember that giving yourself a coronary won't help J. He's trained for this sort of thing, and has much experience with bad people with guns. He knows what to do, and knowing is half the battle.
T&P that J stays safe.

i hope he continues to stay safe..

how scary.
i will be praying.
I'm very very glad that he is ok and prayers sent for a safe resolution for everyone and for the family of the officer involved.
It will be ok, just keep telling yourself that. Big ((((hugs))))
