The shared rooms post below got me thinking of how I should ask ya'll to share your pics of 2u2 girl shared rooms.
Currently I have one daughter in one room decorated with cherry wood furniture and pink and brown decor and then....
the other daughter is in another room with white furniture and purple, yellow and white decor.
We are possibly downsizing and the girls may need to share a room. Should I buy all new furniture? Should I just use what I have? Should I try to get the first daughter white furniture and combine that way?!
HELP & TIA!
Re: Shared Rooms
Are they both still in cribs? I guess if they are in cribs and you will be buying big girl beds, then I would possibly buy matching sets. If not, I wouldn't worry about matching furniture. Just find some cute matching bedding (or a set that goes with one of the others) and it will look darling.
I would definitely work with atleast one set and just buy something that matches if you decide to purchase something!
Unfortunately for now my 7 year old son and my 10 mo old daughter share a room...I was really wondering how in the world I would combine the two in one room...fortunately it is a big room 16x16...All the walls in his room were already painted blue, so I chose a theme for her that would match the color scheme...red, blue, black, chrome, he's a car nut...so I did her side in red and zebra, out of laziness I didn't paint the two walls her stuff is on...I guess what I'm trying to spit out is that you can give them each their own room in the same room just use a coordinating color scheme so it's not too busy. The furniture will blend with the other colors in the room and you will probably be the only one who will know they don't have the same set...swap their dressers so the pieces dont stand out...there are lots of ways to make it work!!!
