  Bottles or replacement nipples...a carrier/wrap, some new bibs gender specific.  All of DDs were pink. 

  Other than that we just waited to see if something needed replacing or to be more gender specific.

  My second child isn't here yet but so far we've bought her nursery furniture and some gender specific clothes and bibs. For the most part she will wear her brother's hand-me-downs. On my short list I will get second crib mattress & bedding, double stroller, a second monitor since I still use the first one for my son, new pump tubing & valves (will just sterilize current parts), a second rocker to toddler chair, a swing (did not need one with son but will need to put this one down somewhere safe more often) and new bottles.

   I guess we're bad parents- we've only purchased two things so far for baby 2- a bundle me for the infant carseat and a my brestfriend pillow for BFing. We plan on purchasing a double stroller once he/she is here, and then I may go on a little shopping spree buying more gender specific clothes, since DD was a spring baby. Overall though, that's it so far.

  We had borrowed several things for DD1 (and have since returned those items) so we bought a few things people normally have for their first (bottles, breast pump, etc.) Other then that we bought a crib, mattress, bedding, replacement onesies (many of DD1's were too stained to keep,) monitor, changing table, changing table pad and covers, second diaper genie, new binkies, a few replacement recieving blankets, and a few new outfits (just because.)

  We are looking into buying a crib for DS2 at this point (he sleeps in our PnP bassinet now).  The only real things I've had to buy for the most part are clothes since DS1 and DS2 were born in opposite seasons.

  clothing - have a boy, this one is a girl.

  cloth diapers - we didn't CD for newborn stage last time around so we needed them.

  a wrap - I had a sling, DS hated it, I hated it and we gave it away. Got it on gently used and on deep discount.

  planning on: a double stroller, potentially a carseat (we were in London when DS was born, couldn't bring his with us here) if we dont borrow my sisters, bedding, a rug for her room since DS will keep his... and we're debating which child to get the new furniture for. Probably DS and we'll keep the nursery furniture in the nursery. Oh and we might try to get a swing since we didn't have one the first time around but I always wanted one.
  

   eta: we are hoping to get an extra changing table as well for either our bedroom or the downstairs so I don't have to be running up and down stairs all day long.
