Has anyone noticed the number of people on the baby/toddler/parenting boards having #2 but finding out it is twins/triplets? Yet another girl (probably the 5th I have seen in the past 3 months or so) on 12-24 found out today she was having twins! Then there are the 2 girls having spontaneous triplets.
I would LOVE to have twins/triplets but the cost factor is making my head spin! I am already not sure where we would put baby #2 in our apartment, let alone baby #2-3-4...not to mention the panic my husband would go through!
(I can't wait to see CrazeyJaney's ID boys though...after all she went through to get Angie, it is amazing that she got pregnant with twins on her own!)
Re: If you are TTC #2 please come in...
I have not been following all the 2 + pregnancies but I think I would pass the F out if I found out I was having two, followed by a lot of crying, lol.
Its not just the money factor is the time factor. I really enjoyed all the one on one time I have had with DS. There are really great days and there are days where I think there is no way I can have two.
Either way I think its a blessing to have one or more. In the end we all seem to find a way to make it work for us and I am sure if I had twins we would make it work. It would not be easy and I am sure at times trying, but well worth it.
(can you do a PIP for me? I would kinda like to see that :-)
I feel ya on the bed rest though. It seems that a lot of them don't have BR but for the ones with toddlers, I can only imagine, especially if it is hospital bedrest. Francisca had to have a hard time with that.
Even Parenting? I have only been there a few times but it seems like a nice enough group.
BTW, your husband is HOT.
And thank you!!
Yea I hear you there on the risk thing. I am jealous of your big house though! We are kind of in limbo on where we want to live so it is apartment living for now...but of course everyone makes it work some how.
I really worry about having multiples. Especially since I am on Clomid. I can't really wrap my head around taking care of 3+. I know if it happens we'd adjust, but I would be worried about being able to handle them and still spending enough time with each of them.
I don't spend much time on the toddler board, so I haven't really noticed.
Yeah, it's kind of odd that there are so many spontaneous twins/triplets now a days. Everyone wants to be as cool as me, I guess. j/k
And although it's neat to have twins/triplets, there are a lot of dangers that go along with it. Our bodies aren't meant to carry more than one at a time.
Are your girls ID? I have looked at their pics and can't seem to tell (my completely unrelated sisters got asked if they were twins ALL the time, so I never assume!). I LOVE that new pic of them in the snow, btw!
(and you are a brave, brave woman to go for #4!)
