Has anyone else experienced a really easy and smooth transition to 2 under 2? I know it will get more difficult when DD can crawl/walk etc...but things have been super super easy! It is making me want baby #3 a lot sooner...I am going to have a hard time waiting until DD is 2 if it keeps going this way!
Re: Anyone else?
I agree. The first month was challenging with BFing all the time but I was expecting it to be way worse.
My kids are great sleepers though. That makes a HUGE difference
DS 3.12.08
DD 7.11.09
DD 8.01.13
It has been really easy for us too. Though I think DD will be crawling within a few weeks so I may have a different story then...
But it in no way makes me want #3! We call having 2 the perfect amount of craziness for us. We love it, but have no desire to be out numbered!
Yes. It has been easy for us as well. DD2 is a really laid-back baby and a good sleeper, so that makes a world of a difference. But it really has been an easy transition and I love having them so close together.
Before DD2, I didn't think I wanted a #3 anymore. DD1 was a super hard, colicky NB and didn't STTN until 15 months, and that's still not consistent. But now after having DD2 and how easy she is, we're playing with the idea of having a third.
That said, if we do have a third, it will not be anytime soon!!!!!!!! We'll see how we feel about it later, but I'm thinking 3-4 years apart for #3, if there is one. Really, I wouldn't mind waiting until DD2 was in kindergarten, and then having another 2u2, but I think we're going to want to travel and do more stuff later, instead of start all over w/ NBs..
