Trying to Get Pregnant

Can someone calm me down

I am new to this board, but hope some of you can offer some guidance! I have been having trouble with endo, fibriods, and pcos for 2 years and was told getting pregnant on my own might be difficult. In Dec, my Dr planned to begin fertility treatments in March.?

Well, wouldn't you know it, after Christmas I ovulated much earlier than I usually do (at day 27 rather than 40 or 50 something). We also did the bd 5 days before I ovulated.?

Today I went to the Dr and found out I am pregnant! Trust me, I am happy, but I am also freaked out/confused. Wasn't my lining to old to have a healthy implementation (dumb question I guess)? I am just afraid this is a chemical pregnancy.?

My HCG was 56 at 14dpo, and my progesterone was 31. The Dr. didn't think it was necessary to go for a second HCG, but would you? I don't know why, but I have a hard time believing its real given the late ovulation and bd at 5 days prior to ovulation!?

  • OK in a pregnancy anything can go wrong at anytime you cannot sit here and worry about every little thing! That being said I do understand your concern and if a 2nd HCG will make you feel better insist on it! Congrats and GL!

  • First, relax. I know you know this, but added stress is not good for a body trying to grow a baby. Just because you've had these issues, doesn't mean it was impossible for you to get pg. If they know your history and think there is no need to do more testing, I would trust them. However, if you really really want it, I'd push for it.
